About Us

Footprints Foundation

Our foundation is a non profit (Status 80-G) charitable organization dedicated to provide support to family units of limited financial resources, where the head earning member is unfortunately diagnosed with TERMINAL CANCER and for whom no further curative treatment is possible

Each individual in this organization has been touched one way or the other by the dreaded disease and have pledged to dedicate themselves with compassion and heart to the health and well being of some of these affected families.

The Bitter Truth

It is an appalling truth that once a terminally ill Cancer patient is released from Hospital there is absolutely no support base provided to him either by any Government or private agency. In most cases when the head of the family is the affected victim, the family is reduced to extreme poverty and even beggary. Anyone who has ever had to deal with cancer knows the staggering financial burdens the disease imposes on both patients and their families. In few cases, private or corporate health insurance plans cover at least a portion of the cost. But, for majority of the persons in our country who are less endowed financially, they are without any health insurance.

With the dreaded disease affecting scores of families each day, it is well nigh impossible to walk the path without the support of like minded individuals who possess the heart to walk that extra mile with us and choose to make a difference to the lives of these hapless families. We have extended our support to many such families but this could be just a drop in the ocean as there are thousands in waiting.
